This is a voluntary project which has developed from the great interest and enthusiasm in the history of their locality emanating from the residents and ex-residents of Hale, Upper Hale, and other nearby hamlets and villages, to the north and east of Farnham in Surrey.

The community at Holy Family Church is also involved in local activities and events and from time to time the church is made available for music recitals raising funds for local charities.

Bethal does not just meet on a Sunday, there are many things to get involved with as a church and within the local community.

The committee consists of a fantastic group of enthusiastic volunteers who, throughout the year, plan and implement fundraising events leading up Carnival Day on the first Saturday of July.
